So here's a quick post because I feel like I need to get this out somewhere before I can move on to actually accomplishing some work. 

Over the past week I have thought of nothing else but 1) the coming summer (because let's face it, who cant wait to get out school?) and 2) wanting to learn how to snowboard.  The latter seems to be bordering an obsession.  It has become one of my dreams/aspirations.  I truly hope that I will one day get out there and learn this sport.  But, of course, there are a few obstacles standing in my way.  I don't live in a place where it snows (but will be in california soon so maybe during the winter i can head up to mammoth) so that's a problem.  I also realize that it is costly, as is everything else in this material world (boots, bindings, snowboard, helmet, goggles, winter wear = $$$).  So...we'll see what happens.

On another note, I recently watched the superhero flick Iron Man which by far is one of the best superhero movies I've seen since Spiderman 2 (which is saying something because very much enjoyed Spiderman 2).  If anyone does read this, please, go watch it!  It is awesome (especially Downey who gives a wicked performance as Tony Stark).  Here's hoping they don't screw up the sequel and anything following that.  Hear that Favreau?  Do not follow in Sam Raimi's footsteps; please do not give us another Spiderman 3 to which I was sorely disappointed.

So those were my thoughts for today...and now I should be getting back to work.  Stupid, stupid work.
